Your voice never leaves your Mac.
Speech is recognised on your Mac by Apple's on-device model. There's no account and nothing to sign in to. Crash reports and usage statistics stay off unless you turn them on, and never include what you said.
Want a cloud engine or AI polish? Add your own API key, and audio or text goes straight from your Mac to the provider you picked, never through us.

What's new

- New look. RapidFlow has its own icon and logo.
- Smoother setup. Each permission is asked with macOS's own dialog, and RapidFlow now always shows up in the Input Monitoring list.
- Help improve RapidFlow (optional). Choose during setup, or later in Settings → Privacy, whether to send crash reports and anonymous usage counts. Both are off unless you turn them on; your voice, what you say and the apps you use are never sent.
- Settings → About shows the version and links to getrapidflow.com, the privacy policy and the terms.
- If you had 0.1.4 or earlier: this version installs as a fresh app, so allow the permissions once more. Your settings are kept.
RapidFlow checks for updates once a day and asks before installing. On 0.1.4 or earlier? Those can't update themselves to newer versions, so download it once more from this page. It installs as a fresh app: allow the permissions again, and your settings are kept.

Is RapidFlow really free?
Yes. RapidFlow is a free, private, on-device tool, and there's no pricing, now or later. The only costs are optional: if you add your own key for a cloud engine or AI polish, that provider bills you directly.
Why does it need Accessibility and Input Monitoring?
Input Monitoring lets it notice when you hold your dictation key. Accessibility lets it type the text into the app you are using. The Microphone is for hearing you while the key is held. The setup window asks for each one and explains it.
Does my voice go to the internet?
Not with the default engine: speech is recognised on your Mac by Apple's on-device model. Audio leaves your Mac only if you choose a cloud engine and add your own API key, and then it goes straight to that provider, never to us.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with Apple Silicon, on macOS 27 or later.
Is it safe to install?
Every build is signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS checks it before it opens. Updates are signed too, and the app asks before installing one.
How is it different from the dictation built into macOS?
RapidFlow works the same way in every app with one key you hold, understands English, Hindi and Hinglish in one sentence, lets you say punctuation and “send it”, and adds voice commands, AI polish, custom vocabulary and a history you can re-insert from.
